Welcome to Solfege's Guide to Couple Garden for Audition Next Level. This guide is made specifically for ANL gardeners who want fast couple points or dens. Most basic garden functions have been omitted.

I have also added techniques I came up by myself and those I learned from others. Most parts of this guide are based on guides posted on the old Redbana forums.

Lags and Delays^[1]

Currently, ANL has a garden time delay that starts at 0 seconds after every maintenance and increases to around 1 minute in a week. This delay cannot be seen using /time, or using the fam office clock, or 1-day market timer. If the delay is at 10 seconds, /time HH:MM:10 is garden HH:MM:00. Because of this, it is NOT advisable to plant or do tasks at minutes ending in 0.

Couple Garden Tasks

• Watering
  • if planted/watered in minutes ending in 1~4
    

    1 hour + round up 10 mins, after being planted or after the last watering

  • if planted/watered in minutes ending in 5~9
    

    1 hour + round up 10 mins + 10 mins, after being planted or after the last watering

• Dusting

  1 hour + round up 10 mins + 10 mins, after being planted or after the last dusting

• Fertilizing

  24 hours + round up 20 mins + 10 mins, after being planted or after the last fertilizing

Secret Garden Herbs

Time for growth of herbs starts once they are fertilized. Garden time delay is added to the growth time, so at most, Rosemaries can take up to 8 minutes to grow. Herbs must be harvested before they die.

Phases

• Phase 1 — newly planted seed
• Phase 2 — 1 hourly count
• Phase 3 — 3 hourly counts
• Phase 4 — 9 hourly counts
• Phase 5 — 19 hourly counts — Full bloom can be reached at a minimum of 18 hours and 20 mins

Invisible Hourly Count

This means that there must be at least 1 task done within every hour for that specific hour to count. For example, within 01:01~01:59, one watering task was done, therefore that specific hour is added to the invisible hourly count. When the total hourly count reaches 1, 3, 9, or 19, the plants will change phase accordingly.

Tips

• Since watering and dusting both have an interval of more than 1 hour, it is possible to skip an hour if the timing is wrong. One way to prevent this, and also to catch the hearts during phase change, is to separate watering and dusting as far as possible. This can be anywhere from 40 to 60 minutes.
• For example, seeds are planted at 01:01. First water will appear at 02:10. Do watering task starting 02:11, and go back after every 40 minutes to dust or water. You have 10 mins to do the task without the need to adjust your timer. If you were late, start your timer again 40 minutes after your last task.
• Never do your tasks in minutes ending in 0, especially 00, if you do not know the current delay. There is a big chance that your plants will not have the same hourly counts, and will change phases in different hours.
• You don’t need to do a task right away just because the task has already appeared. Diskarte lang.

You can use the form below to create a sample schedule. You also do not need to follow the schedule strictly. As I mentioned previously, diskarte lang.

Fullbloom Images

Since the display for Phase 4 and 5 can be confusing, I've decided to post their images here. This is taken directly from Audition Korea's website. If the plant looks exactly like in the images below, it should be ready to harvest. Please do be careful with the Orchids since their Phase 4 and 5 look very similar.

Separating Tasks

Since people need sleep, we will sometimes need to leave our gardens for more than an hour. When this happens, water and dust, and sometimes fertilizer, will appear together. Since we want to separate the task timings, here is a technique by Tukkun. Just make sure that the difference of your starting and ending garden points is equal to your plants.

This method is mainly to catch the hearts that appear during the 1st phase change of the plants. This is the fastest way to gain couple points if you want to level up your ring quickly. Basically, you plant, get the hearts, and replant.

Phase 2

This interval lasts for 1 hour and 10 mins. First, plant in minutes ending in 1~4. And return after 1 hour and the next 10th minute. For example, seeds are planted at 01:01. Water will appear at 02:10. Do watering task and replant within 02:11~14. You have until 02:19 to water, but you will have to move 10 minutes and replant at 02:21~24.

Use the form below to check if your planting time will let you catch hearts during Phase 2 watering.

Always remember this equation: Phase 3 + Skip 2 = Phase 5 = Bloom! This is the quickest, easiest, and wisest way to skip phases. Basically we get our plants to reach Phase 3 at the shortest possible time, and then skip 2 phases for them to bloom. And for the bonus 30 couple points per harvested Phase 5 plant, make sure to purchase the Homebound Mark ! Only the account with Homebound Mark can get the bonus 30 couple points.

Phase 3 ^[2]

Normally, Phase 3 can be reached 2 hourly counts after Phase 2. But did you know that in every 7 hours of doing hourly method, you can do a Phase 3 with the same duration as a Phase 2? To do this, your plants must be planted within HH:41~44. They will be watered at HH:51~54 to catch Phase 2 hearts. But do not replant yet. Dust them during the next hour, and water again on the next.

For example, seeds are planted on 01:41. First water will appear 02:50. Water them within 02:51~54 to catch Phase 2 hearts and for hourly count #1. Dust them within 03:01~03:59 for hourly count #2. Water them again on 04:01 to catch Phase 3 hearts for hourly count #3. Replant.

If you notice, there is only 1 hour and 10 mins between Phase 2 and 3. Plus, you get an extra 40 garden points!

Use the form below to check if your next batch can use the Phase 3 method in the shortest possible time of 1 hour and 10 mins.

Grow Boosters / Skip Potions

This method is for an additional 600~2000+ couple points if done correctly, assuming your garden is fully expanded to 40 plants. This is basically using potions to make your plants bloom. Don't forget to purchase the Homebound Mark for the bonus 30 couple points per harvested Phase 5 plant.

• Top-grade and Advanced Potions from Pachinko

  The red potion skips 2 phases for the whole garden.

  The blue potion skips 1 phase for the whole garden.

  There are no confirmation messages so be careful when clicking the Use button.

  Use the Phase 3 method to all plants and apply 1 red potion or 2 blue potions^[2] to make your plants bloom. Harvest and replant. This will give you 1200 couple points as Homebound Mark Bonus, and 100-200 couple points per hat depending on your luck.

• Lv2 Grow Booster from Secret Garden

  This item skips 2 phases for 1 plant only.

  For every Lv2 Grow Booster, you will need 21 Rosemaries, 3 Spearmints, and 1 Peppermint. Even though this potion has the biggest percentage in rosemary time, this is still the most worth it potion to create since it saves you 16 hours of gardening for only 35 hours of work for 60% success rate^[3].

  2x Rosemary Extract	5x Rosemary Herbs each
  1x Spearmint Extract	3x Spearmint Herbs each
  1x Triple Mix	11x Rosemary Herb + 1x Peppermint Herb each

  For Hourly Method Gardeners, use the Phase 3 method to all plants and apply 20^[2] Lv2 Grow Boosters to random 20 plants that you like to bloom. Harvest and replant. This will give you 600 couple points as Homebound Mark Bonus, and 100-200 couple points per hat depending on your luck.

  We only apply to 20 plants out of 40 because this can easily be done in 4 minutes, so we do not need to move 10 minutes before replanting. The average hats for every 20 plants is around 4 to 5.

  For Fullbloom Gardeners, grow your plants until Phase 3 and apply Lv2 Grow Boosters to all your plants. Harvest and Replant. This will give you 1200 couple points as Homebound Mark Bonus, and 100-200 couple points per hat depending on your luck.

Here is a sample video of how I do Phase 3 method + usage of 20 pcs Lv2 Grow Boosters to get 600 couple points from Homebound Mark, and an extra 600 couple points from the dropped hats. This serves as an extra thousand couple points on top of doing hourly method.

1. Is it possible to get 100k hearts per month using only hourly method?

   Yes. If you and your couple help each other work on your garden 24/7, it will be easy even without using secret garden. You can water 20-21 batches per day, minus maintenance time.

2. Which method gives the most couple points?

   Definitely the hourly method works best if you want to level your ring quickly. You can do secret garden (phase 3 method + growth boosters + homebound mark) for additional couple points.

3. Which seeds give you the most couple points?

   Any. There may be a very slight difference, but they are all similar in average couple points per batch, around 195~205.

4. Does leaving the hats to collect later give you more 50 couple points per hat?

   No. I have done this a few times before and I still received the same average per batch of 200 couple points.

5. Does male or female character affect the drop rate?

   Maybe. Sometimes we feel that we can change the drop rate by logging in to the other character. Sometimes it helps, sometimes there is no change.

6. If I use my Secret Garden, will my garden time change and make me unable to do hourly method?

   No. This only happened in the old AuditionPH servers. It is now fixed with the new timing. You can safely use Secret Garden and still be able to do hourly method.

7. Do you have any more tips to level ring quickly?

   • Expand your garden to 40 plants.
   • Do hourly method and skipping phases.
   • Do shifting and scheduling with your couple so your garden and secret garden are occupied 24/7.
   • Drain your Couple Battle Party NPCs to 1 and buy the CBP reset item for another round of draining. Double effort against hidden NPCs. Train your reverse chance 3 especially in 8-keys.
   • Use your x2 couple points from pachinko together with your couple to stack it to x4 during Couple Dance or Ballroom or Couple Point Battle. Use it during Bonus +4 or +5.
   • Play Couple Point Battle with another wedded couple for 7~8 couple points per game. I recommend this is you are a solo couple and you have at least 2 computers. Or 4 computers if you also have a wedded sub/dummy couple. A minimum of 5 moves is required for both accounts to obtain couple points and experience.
   • Play Block Beat and team up with your couple, which I don't really recommend because of too much effort even though I'm a Block Beat player myself. But if you and your couple love the mode, then of course go ahead!

Garden Points

You get garden points for doing tasks in the garden. 1 point for every plant watered, dusted, or fertilized. 3 points for every harvested phase 5 plant.

Pachinko

This is the slot machine where you can get free items everyday. Listed below are from most common to most rare.

• x2 Exp item
• x2 Couple Point item
• Couple Points (50, 100, 150, 200)
• Intermediate nutrient, prevents the whole garden from dying for one week
• High quality nutrient, keeps the whole garden healthy for one week
• Secret garden expansion item
• Advance potion, skips 1 phase for the whole garden
• Top grade potion, skips 2 phases for the whole garden

King Worm

For garden ratings Ruby and up, the King Worm arrives every midnight and does not affect the drop rate of plants. After hitting the King Worm, you will be given 3 hats of either 10, 20 or 30 hearts each.

When each person clicks their heart for attendance, 1 charge is added. It means a couple can get 2 charges per day, or 24 charges in 12 days.

The total charge will reset every half month (every 1st and 16th of the month) which means a couple has 15 days to complete the 24 charges.

When the total charge reaches a certain amount, the couple will receive rewards as shown below:

The Couple Bankbook allows you to share dens with your couple. You can deposit, withdraw, and purchase using the bankbook balance. When the bankbook expires, you will not be able to use these functions.

Secret Garden Slot Machine Jackpots

The bankbook also has ranks: Normal > Classic > Premier > Special > Royal. In each rank you will need to do 3 missions before you are able to go to the next rank. After claiming rewards for Royal rank, you will go back to Normal rank and repeat the cycle.

Psychotria is a new special seed that gives 200-heart hats on Phase 5 harvest! You can obtain it by mixing any kind of grow booster in the secret garden. On random occurence, you will get the seed instead of a grow booster. To maximize the seed, you must get it to Phase 5 either by full bloom method or skipping phases. When you harvest, it seems to have a 100% chance of dropping 200-heart hats. Don't forget to purchase the Homebound Mark for the bonus 30 couple points per harvested Phase 5 plant.
